Liturgical Ministers Info
The Liturgical Ministers are the group of folks at All Saints' who make our worship services happen by serving as ushers, Scripture readers, Prayers of the People leaders and chalice bearers. Ushers: Ushers arrive at least 10 minutes before the service is scheduled to start, check in with the seminarians/interns for any special instructions and assist with greeting people, handing out bulletins, collecting the offering, recruiting people to bring up the bread and wine at the offering, and directing people to communion.
Chalice Bearers: Chalice bearers check in with the seminarians/interns before the service is scheduled to start for any special instructions and assist with the administration of the chalice (wine) at communion.
Prayers of the People: Leaders of the Prayers of the People check in with seminarians/interns before the service is scheduled to start for any special instructions and lead the prayers of the people.
Scripture Readers: Scripture Readers check in with seminarians/interns before the service is scheduled to start for any special instructions and read the Scripture reading(s) during the service.
