Allison Loecke grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has been attending All Saints regularly since 2015. She was officially received into the Episocpal church in January of 2020 and couldn’t be prouder to be a part of a church that welcomes, loves and celebrates everyone! She graduated from Saint Mary’s University in MN with a degree in surviving the winter and was a Graduate Assistant in Campus Ministry at the University of Dayton where she received a masters degree in Pastoral Ministry. She learned the ins and outs of home repair in West Virginia as a volunteer staff member and later the director of Nazareth Farm, cheered on the Musketeers as a Campus Minister at Xavier University, learned what a Rambler was working at Loyola Academy and memorized all her produce codes as a proud crew member at Trader Joe’s. She currently works at Loyola University in the Campus Ministry department.
In her free time Allison enjoys volunteer gigs at WTTW, Aunt Mary’s Storybook and Old Town School of Folk Music, and she is on a lifelong pursuit to refine her (very amateur) tap dance and balloon animal making skills. She is passionate about voting, empowering the marginalized, ending the death penalty and celebrating sacraments every day (see National Day Calendar for ideas)! Her dream vacation is a hiking and train trip across the country and she is lousy at returning library books on time and refusing ice cream. She also loves creating art, jump roping, planning parties, playing in the kitchen, exploring Chicago and being with her friends, family and her crazy cat Winona.
