I heard about All Saints’ when I first moved to Chicago over 15 years ago, but I was too lazy to venture far from home on Sunday mornings and occasionally attended an Episcopal church in my neighborhood instead. But in 2014 I moved to Andersonville and I finally found my way to our awesome little church. I was thrilled to discover a spiritual community filled with tons of energy and engaged so passionately in Christ’s work promoting social justice. It’s also convenient that All Saints’ runs on the same clock as I do: about 10 minutes late.
I cook on the first Tuesday team for RCS, bake communion bread a couple times a year, and make it to church most Sundays (generally for the 9 am service). I’m excited by the opportunity to serve the All Saints’ community on the vestry and continue to learn and grow spiritually with all of you really cool people.
