Scottie has been a parishioner at All Saints’ since October 2008, and she previously served on the vestry from 2013-2016.
She is proud of All Saints’ commitment to the gospel’s call to welcome the stranger, lift up the poor, shelter the unhoused, comfort the outcast, stand with the lonely, defend the oppressed, embrace the doubtful, nurture the young, and remember all those who’ve been left behind. She thinks this is a wonderful, welcoming, thriving place, and is hopeful and committed to our future.
She can’t wait to see what we take on next. She will continue to learn and lead alongside the congregation, and endeavor to make the world a better place. She lives in Edgewater with her roommates, including her cat Mo, a failed candidate for vestry in 2016 (he bears no ill will and sends his regards). She acts, dances, climbs rocks, cooks, and likes to travel, particularly to France.
