Dear Friends,
Well, wow! The All Saints’ Bake Auction—back in person for the first time since Covid!—was off-the-hook joyful!
The Parish Hall felt like something out of Willy Wonka crossed with Cabaret crossed with The Great British Baking Show: wall-to-wall baked goods—some beautiful, some clever, many both—and your great energy, from our brilliant auctioneers to all of you laughing, competing to outbid one another while tracking items in the silent auction, to excited children, eager to see what their creations earned and to try their hand at bidding.
We raised a ton of money—over $27K!—which is fabulous and with which we can help our partners do amazing things AND we had a ton of fun together—long-time members and brand-new folks, kids and adults gathered to do good in an old-fashioned, All Saints kind of way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I don’t know about you, but no matter how crummy the week has been, a Sunday at All Saints brings me great hope and joy. See you in church!
Faithfully, Suzanne+
