Sunday Worship Schedule
8:00 am Service
Holy Eucharist with Sermon. A simple spoken service (no music) using gender-inclusive language found in A New Zealand Prayer Book.
9:00 am Service
Holy Eucharist (Rite II) with music and sermon. Popular with families as it comes before church school (although children are invited to all services).
11:00 am Service
Holy Eucharist (Rite II) with music and sermon. This service goes a little longer than the 9:00 am service as we listen to all the scripture readings and tends to have fewer children but remains child-friendly.
Children & Youth
Free childcare is available on Sundays for children 6 months – 3 years old | 8:45am – 12:15pm. The All Saints nursery offers free child care during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am services and provides an engaging and safe environment for infants and toddlers when they are not participating in the service.
During the school year, church school classes meet between services at 10:00 -11:00 am. Children ages 3 to 6 years-old are invited to participate in classes during the 9:00 am service. More info here.

Adults & Newcomers: Welcoming experiences can take place between 10:00 – 11:00 am or after the 11:00 am service. Check the calendar to see what’s happening.
Some questions you might have:
How long are the Sunday services?
The 8:00 am is 45 minutes. The 9:00 am is typically an hour. The 11 am is around an hour and 15 minutes.
What should I wear?
Be comfortable and come as you are. If this means flip flops and shorts during the summer or if suit jackets and formal dress are more your style, we welcome you.
Do children take communion?
The altar is God’s table, and we believe all are welcome at God’s tablel. You (and your kids) are welcome to come forward to receive communion. You can receive the bread and wine or skip one or both. If you would prefer a blessing instead of communion, simply cross your arms over your chest to signify that you would like a blessing. You are also free to remain in your pew during communion.
How will I know what to do?
Most of the service is printed in a bulletin. With time the rhythm of the service becomes known. After a few services you’ll know what feels right for you.
Are your buildings accessible?
The church was built in 1883 and the parish hall in the 1950’s. The overall campus includes the church, parish hall, rectory, and offices for Ravenswood Community Services.
Renovations and updates have occurred over time and we do offer an accessible facility. An elevator is located at the Wilson entrance which allows access to our parish hall and walkway access is available to the church on the Wilson side of the building.
